Daily Gita Guidance
Presence
Day 6
Stillness Inside Action
“One who sees inaction in action, and action in inaction, is wise among humans and has attained the transcendental position.”
— BG 4.18
A yogi — someone who has trained their mind through practice — doesn't need to be still to feel peace, and doesn't need to stay busy to get things done. This verse points to an inner calm that stays steady underneath everything happening in your day. It's not about pulling away from life, just relating to it differently.
Reflection
Is there a time in your day when you feel completely present without effort? What were you doing?
Today's Practice
Choose one routine task today and do it with your full attention, as if it were the only thing in the world.
