The Treasury Is the Foundation
Chanakya insisted on keeping the treasury full — not out of greed, but because everything else depends on it. An empty treasury means you cannot pay your soldiers, maintain anything, or respond when trouble hits. For a person, the treasury is your energy, your time, your relationships, your money — whatever resources fuel your goals. Spending them faster than you refill them is a slow-motion disaster.
