Day 7
Enemies, Allies, and Neutrals
Chanakya mapped every kingdom around him using what he called the mandala — literally 'circle.' In this circle, the same power can be your enemy, your ally, or neutral, depending on the situation. His key insight: today's enemy and today's friend are not fixed forever — they change with circumstances. This frees you from the trap of thinking some people are permanent enemies and others permanent friends. It's a strategy of staying flexible.
Who in your current situation have you classified as a permanent enemy — and what would shift in your strategy if you treated them as a contingent adversary instead?
Identify one adversarial relationship in your work or life. List three things you genuinely have in common with that person. Use this as a starting point for a different approach.
