Day 4
What Is Dharma?
“Moreover, considering your own dharma, you should not waver. For a kshatriya, there is no greater duty than a battle enjoined by dharma.”
— BG 2.31
Dharma is a Sanskrit word with no single English translation. It means law, duty, rightness, truth, and "the way" — all at once. In the Gita, Krishna uses the word in two senses. One is the universal moral order that holds the world together. The other is your own personal duty, the one that comes from your nature and your role in life. To understand dharma, you need both.
What does your specific role — your relationships, your position, your nature — ask of you right now that you are not yet giving?
Write down three obligations you carry that belong specifically to who you are, not just to who you wish you were.
