30-Day Bhagavad Gita Study
The Inner Battlefield
Day 3
Every Life Is a Kurukshetra
“Dhritarashtra said: O Sanjaya, assembled at the sacred plain of Kurukshetra, eager to fight, what did my sons and the sons of Pandu do?”
— BG 1.1
Kurukshetra is a real battlefield from history. But it is also a picture of the field where every human being makes choices. The Pandavas and Kauravas are not just two armies. They stand for the forces at war inside every mind. The Gita's opening scene shows what it feels like to stand at a crossroads you cannot walk back from.
Reflection
What is your personal Kurukshetra right now — the place where you feel most called to choose, and most afraid to?
Today's Practice
Name your inner Arjuna (the part that hesitates out of love) and your inner Krishna (the part that already knows). Give each a word.
