Hanuman was offered the kingship of Lanka's monkey kingdoms and extraordinary wealth. He refused — not from weakness but from clarity about his purpose. He had come for Sita and Rama; nothing else was his mission. This is the discipline of mission: knowing your purpose so clearly that the distractions, even attractive ones, are simply irrelevant.
