Hanuman Strength Challenge
Resilience
Day 19
Joy in Service
Hanuman's joy is not naive — it has been tested by real grief and come through the other side. He can carry sorrow and joy in the same heart at the same time. His joy is not shaken by hard times, because it was never resting on things going well in the first place. This is what joy rooted in devotion looks like: it does not wait for good circumstances. It comes from the inside, not from what is happening outside.
Reflection
Is there a version of joy available to you right now that doesn't depend on your circumstances being different than they are? What would it feel like?
Today's Practice
Find one genuine reason to feel gratitude today — not a forced one, but something specific and real. Stay with it for two minutes before moving on.
