What Devotion Is
Hanuman always saw himself as a servant, never as a master. And yet the Ramayana shows that his love for Rama was the source of his power, not a limit on it. Real devotion is not bowing to someone else's ego. It is letting your whole self line up with something bigger than you. When that happens, power and humility stop being two different things — they become one.

What or who inspires in you a love that makes you better — not dependent, but expanded? When did you last act from that love rather than from obligation?

Today, do something — work, exercise, creative expression, service — from love rather than obligation. Notice how the quality of the act changes.
