Daily Gita Guidance
The Body
Day 22
The Body as Sacred
“Worship of the divine, teachers, and the wise; purity, straightforwardness, and non-violence — these constitute the austerity of the body.”
— BG 17.14
The Gita sees the body as the instrument you use to live out dharma — your right action — in the world. Neglecting the body means neglecting the very tool your purpose depends on. Caring for the body means more than what you eat or how you look. It also means the quality of what you do with it.
Reflection
Are you caring for your body in a way that supports what you most want to do with your life? Where is the gap?
Today's Practice
Choose one thing — sleep, food, movement, stillness — that would genuinely serve your body, and do it today without negotiating.
