Daily Gita Guidance
Relationships
Day 18
Dharma in Relationships
“Even Janaka and other kings attained perfection solely by performance of prescribed duties — so for the welfare of all, you should perform your work.”
— BG 3.20
The Gita insists the path to freedom runs through relationships, not around them. Every real relationship carries duties, and meeting them with care — without grasping for something in return — is as much a spiritual path as any retreat.
Reflection
What is the specific duty you carry in your most important relationship right now — not what you want from the other person, but what you owe?
Today's Practice
Choose one relationship where you've been focused on what you're receiving. Today, focus only on what you are giving.
