Day 17

Karma Yoga at Work

Perform your prescribed duties, for action is better than inaction. Even the maintenance of your body would not be possible without work.

BG 3.8

Karma yoga — acting fully without being attached to the result — doesn't mean not caring about outcomes. It means not letting the outcome define your worth. A carpenter can care deeply about a chair without needing the client's approval to feel good about themselves. It's a small shift, but it changes everything about how work feels.

Reflection

In your work, which outcomes are you most attached to — not because they matter professionally but because your sense of self depends on them?

Today's Practice

Today, do your work at your usual standard, but notice every moment you check for external validation. Just notice.
