Daily Gita Guidance
Resilience
Day 12
After Failure
“Do battle without considering happiness or distress, loss or gain, victory or defeat — by so doing you shall never incur sin.”
— BG 2.38
The Gita changes what failure even means. If you acted from your clearest sense of what was right, and gave it your full effort, what is there really to lose? The result was never fully in your hands to begin with. This isn't just a comforting thought — it's a different way of measuring what success is.
Reflection
What recent failure are you still carrying? What would it mean to judge that effort by the quality of the intention, not the outcome?
Today's Practice
Write one paragraph about a recent failure — but describe only what you did, not what resulted. Notice how different it looks.
