Day 28

The Work Remains

The Arthashastra doesn't end with a victory lap — it ends with duty. The work of maintaining what you've built is never finished. Chanakya didn't retire once the empire was set up — he kept governing it for decades. His deepest lesson isn't a clever trick. It's a way of paying attention: stay awake to what's actually happening, act on what you know rather than what you wish were true, and never mistake your own personal preference for real strategic clarity.

Reflection

Which principle from these 28 days do you most consistently forget under pressure? That is the one to carry.

Today's Practice

Write one sentence — your own Arthashastra — that captures your personal strategic principle. Put it somewhere you will see it when decisions become difficult.
