Chanakya's rule: a king who does everything himself makes sure small things get done right, and big things don't get done at all. A king who hands off tasks with no oversight ends up with people who answer to no one and act in their own interest. The fix isn't controlling every detail — it's being clear about the result you want, genuinely trusting people to choose their own method, and then checking the outcome.
