Know Your Situation Exactly
Chanakya's first rule is simple: look at what is actually true, without emotion. Most people swing between two mistakes. They overestimate their position because they want to believe it, or they underestimate it because they are afraid. Both are useless. Seeing clearly means learning to tell the difference between what is real and what you only wish or fear is real.
