30-Day Bhagavad Gita Study
The Absolute
Day 17
Royal Knowledge
“By Me, in My unmanifested form, this entire universe is pervaded. All beings are in Me, but I am not in them.”
— BG 9.4
Chapter 9 describes the divine in its strangest form: fully present in everything, yet not limited or bound by any of it. This is not a belief you are meant to just accept. It describes a quality of awareness that the whole practice is aiming at.
Reflection
Is there an experience you can point to — however brief — of being a kind of open space in which events occurred without you being threatened by them?
Today's Practice
Today, when something difficult arises, try noticing the awareness in which it is occurring rather than being entirely absorbed in the difficulty.
