Hanuman Strength Challenge
Service
Day 12
Who You Serve
Hanuman did not serve some vague idea. He served Rama — one person, right in front of him — and through Rama, everything Rama stood for. It is hard to keep serving 'humanity' or 'the good' in general, day after day. It is much easier to keep showing up for one real person or one real cause you can see and touch. Love one person well, and you end up serving everyone. Love 'everyone' in the abstract, and you often end up serving no one but your own pride.
Reflection
Who or what do you serve most concretely? Is it specific enough to hold you on difficult days?
Today's Practice
Write down the name of one person whose wellbeing genuinely matters to you more than your own comfort. Today, do one specific thing for them.
