The leap to Lanka is the defining act of Hanuman's story. He had never made such a jump before. The ocean was unknown. Lanka's defences were unknown. Sita's condition was unknown. He leaped anyway — driven by devotion and trust, not certainty. The courage was not in knowing the outcome; it was in leaping into the not-knowing.
