Day 3

Right Action

Better is one's own dharma, though imperfectly performed, than the dharma of another well performed.

BG 3.35

Dharma means the right action for who you are and the situation you're in — not one rule for everyone. It's what this specific person, in this specific role, right now, is called to do. Copying someone else's path, even a good one, matters less than staying true to your own — even if you do it imperfectly.

Reflection

Where in your life are you performing someone else's dharma — following a path chosen for its approval rather than its truth?

Today's Practice

Name one action you took this week primarily because it was expected of you, not chosen by you.
