“Better is one's own dharma, though imperfectly performed, than the dharma of another well performed.”
— BG 3.35
Dharma means the right action for who you are and the situation you're in — not one rule for everyone. It's what this specific person, in this specific role, right now, is called to do. Copying someone else's path, even a good one, matters less than staying true to your own — even if you do it imperfectly.
